Method homes are available throughout most of the United States and British Columbia. We have a network of partner manufacturers in strategic areas to service most of the country. Our own facility can service the western coasts of the United States and Canada, including Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Montana, Alaska, and British Columbia. We can also ship our modular homes to remote islands in the Pacific Northwest such as the San Juan Islands and the islands of British Columbia.
What differentiates Method is that we have our own custom production facility where we actually build the homes. We have a proven track record of delivering high-quality custom prefab homes. We are not architect-run, so we can build anything and work with any architect.
We offer a variety of finish levels on our different prefab home models. We arrive at a final fixed price at contract signing, based on the finishes and options of your choice. Our homes range between $130–$200 per square foot for the prefab portion of the home. In addition to the prefab portion, there are soft costs for design and engineering, site costs for foundation and excavation, and costs for transportation and installation.
The first step in buying a home is to have a good idea of the land/lot you will be putting the home on and the parameters of the home you have in mind (i.e. model, size, budget, layout, and finishes). Once these have been preliminarily decided, contact us to go over specifics and set up a feasibility study, which will result in a turn-key estimate. From there we will proceed to contract and schedule a slot in our production calendar.
In Washington and Oregon our construction division, Method Contracting, can serve as the site general contractor. It is ultimately your decision whether to use Method Contracting or to hire a contractor of your choice. If you are out of Method Contracting's service area, we will work with you to find a reputable contractor and consult with them throughout the building process.

a new level by building in a controlled environment, giving our clients thoughtful, well-
built prefab custom homes.
Yes. The Method Cabin Series was specifically engineered to go in areas with high snow loads.
No. Method homes are built to the same standards as a site-built home. Our homes adhere to International Building Codes (IBC) and local jurisdiction building codes. Method's homes are built even sturdier than their site-built counterparts, due to increased engineering for transport and set. We also increase the performance of our homes through enhanced insulation applications and energy-efficient systems for heating and cooling.
Our factory is in Ferndale, Washington.
