We are pleased to launch methodprefab.com as a sister site to methodhomes.net.
We launched methodprefab.com as the umbrella company to all Method ventures. To steal the copy from the new site “Method Prefab is the parent company to all method divisions including Method Homes, featuring our proprietary home models, Method Factory, featuring custom prefab work for architects, developers, homeowners and other prefab companies, and Method Contracting, the site construction wing of Method Prefab.”
Method Factory is our division that specializes in custom fabrication of modules for clients. As we have progressed in our production of precision built prefabricated structures we have realized a need for custom work for architects, developers, builders, other prefab home companies and clients. We are currently exploring a town home project that will be in Seattle and several custom home projects for architects. We bring the same dedication to quality, details and craftsmanship that we focus on with Method Homes to Method Factory.
It is interesting that a lot of modern prefab companies are architects who outsource production. While this model works for them, we come from building and development backgrounds and it is essential to us to control the building process. It seems that by relying on outside production there are a lot of variables outside of one’s control. We eliminate those and are able to deliver a high quality product as a result.
As a company that builds high quality prefab and is well versed at innovative building techniques, we do not balk at difficult projects architects, developers or clients would want to implement be it timber frame components, steel components including CNC capabilities, SIPS, radiant heat, solar and other alternative energy options, LEED certifications, Green Built certifications, etc. Through integrated project delivery we can meet any challenge a custom prefab project would present.
Method Contracting is our site construction division. Method Contracting is licensed in Washington state and can do the site portion of the work for Method Home’s and Method Factory’s clients and also work on other sustainable projects. With Method Contracting we are examining implementing panelized construction for sites that are not modular appropriate.
