Prefab, or prefabrication, refers to the process in which a building is constructed off-site at a factory before being transported and finished on-site. There are many different forms of prefab construction: panelized, modular, kit, and manufactured homes. Method Homes is a modular constructor, meaning we build entire three-dimensional volumetric modules, which are assembled and stitched together on-site. This means that by the time a home is transported to the site, it has larger and more complete sections. Much of the interior, such as cabinetry, tiling, and other finishes are already complete before transportation, cutting down the amount of on-site construction time. Our modules arrive over 80% finished; the remaining tasks generally include utility connections between the modules, installing the final roof, and decks.
Here at Method, our homes are custom built and tailored to the landscape and lifestyle of each client. We build every home to local building codes and tailor them to local conditions, taking site snow loads, seismic and wind loads, and energy codes into consideration throughout the design process. Since they are transported and installed, there are increased engineering considerations to ensure our modular homes are built sturdier than their site-built counterparts. Beyond customizing the home to the site, we also ensure that each home is tailored to the lifestyle and design preferences of the owner.

Our climate-controlled factory and state-of-the-art machinery allows us to assemble modules with high levels of accuracy.
We build homes 60% faster than traditional stick-build methods. Site work and factory construction take place concurrently and are not subject to weather delays.
We tailor each home to your land, the topography, local weather patterns, and most importantly, you.
We reach a fixed contract before building, avoiding any surprise costs. Our off-site construction also allows for greater predictability of schedule.
Each home is engineered according to local weather conditions and climate and designed to withstand trucking, shipping, and being lifted by crane.
Our off-site construction process minimizes waste, recycles materials locally, and significantly reduces damage to materials.
