Martis 416 captures the spirit of mountain modern design, blending the rugged environment with sleek finishes and contemporary lines. This home is located in the Martis Valley with Truckee to the north, Lake Tahoe to the south, and beautiful forests all around. Tucked away in the tall pine trees, this home provides a private residence and paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. The charm of this home lies in its blend of modern architecture with natural materials and textures.

Modern open living and dining area with a stone fireplace, gray furniture, wooden ceiling, and large dining table with gray chairs.
Cozy reading nook with cushioned bench, assorted pillows, stone wall, wooden ceiling, and large windows showing a forest view.
Modern hallway with tiled floor, wooden floating staircase, and glass railing on upper level.
Modern kitchen with light wood cabinets, a large black countertop island, and five black bar stools, with a window showing outdoor trees.

Created with care by expert craftspeople, this house’s doors, trim, and cabinets are all custom-made from rift sawn white oak. In the dining area, bold stone and smooth concrete come together for a bold and striking contrast. Long open hallways, high ceilings, and big, bright windows make every space feel airy and connected.

Modern bathroom sink area with a stainless steel basin, wooden cabinets, three black wall lamps above a large mirror, and a towel rack with white towels beside a window.
Modern bedroom with gray quilted bed, built-in wooden headboard with shelf, and narrow horizontal window showing trees.

Hexagonal tilework gives the bathrooms a delicate, geometric touch. And the soft oaken hues lend light and openness to every room.

Bright children's bedroom with two white bunk beds featuring red, white, and blue striped bedding, a black armchair, and large windows showing green trees.
Modern dining nook with a white square table, built-in wooden bench seating, pendant light, and large windows overlooking a forest.

Every space in the home has been intentionally crafted with its function in mind. In the kids’bedroom, a custom built-in bunk bed can fit four happy sleepers on one wall. Every room in the house is heated evenly and sustainably with hydronic radiant heat.
